Visiting the Normandy D-Day beaches is a profound experience, but the logistics of the journey from Paris can easily overshadow the history. This curated day trip removes the stress of travel. With a dedicated driver navigating the route in a comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle, your expert guide can focus entirely on you.
As you travel to the coast, your guide sets the stage, sharing the events, decisions, and individuals who shaped this pivotal moment in history.
At Utah Beach, explore the Landing Museum built inside a preserved German bunker, and see the Higgins Boat Monument and the Utah Beach Memorial. At Omaha Beach, take your time to honor the fallen at the Normandy American Cemetery and tour the permanent exhibition inside the visitor center.
The day is designed for reflection, completely unhurried. We pause for lunch at Le Roosevelt — a historic wartime site reborn as a brasserie serving crowd-pleasing fare alongside French classics such as boeuf bourguignon, best paired with a glass of Normandy cidre.
While your guide provides rich insights for each monument and memorial, you’ll have plenty of space to explore at your own pace before a comfortable ride back to Paris, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
