Private for 1-8 guests
As a New Yorker, this is the tour I tell friends to book. It’s not the luxury car. It’s not the route. It’s what happens when you spend six hours with someone who’s dedicated their life to understanding this city — and knows how to share that with you in a way that stays with you. By the end of the day, you see it differently.

Highlights

  • Travel in comfort in a luxury car with roomy leather seats.
  • Be entertained as you ride with stories and local perspective from your guide.
  • Step outside to explore Ground Zero and Central Park on foot.
  • Discover diverse neighborhoods like Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, and Greenwich Village.
  • See the icons that define New York: Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and more.
  • Explore unexpected hidden gems along your route.

Your private New York experience

Most visitors see New York. They check off the landmarks, take the photos, and leave. This experience takes you deeper: six hours with a guide whose knowledge of this city was built over decades of living here, someone who can turn a single city block into a story you’ll carry home.

It starts with your guide. Every guide is a subject-matter expert with deep roots in this city. They’re not narrators reading highlights — they’re urbanists, historians, former journalists, and lifelong New Yorkers who know the stories you can't find on Google. And because your guide is separate from your driver, you get six hours of undivided expertise. Your driver handles the rest, dropping you curbside exactly where you need to be and revising the route as needed for weather, traffic, or itinerary changes.

The day flexes to your group. Your guide shapes the route around your interests and energy in real time. From hotel pickup in a luxury car to stepping out on foot at key moments (like the 9/11 Memorial and Central Park), it’s seamless and unhurried. Linger in the places that matter to you. Follow your curiosity. There’s always at least one unscripted detour, a hidden gem your guide selects that tourists rarely see.

By the end, you'll have a great overview of the city — and a deeper sense of the culture that only a local can give you.

Testimonials

This tour surpassed all expectations. Tom, our tour guide, was absolutely lovely and has a vast knowledge of the history of NYC. So glad I booked this particular tour as it really was a highlight of my trip.

Maeve

Ray, our tour guide, was a fount of knowledge with plenty of tales and fun stories to share. The itinerary was full but well designed so it flowed well. I feel like we learnt so much about this beautiful city from a born and bred New Yorker who clearly loves this special place.

Karen

Our private tour with Jorge was amazing! We saw so many things in just one day and his knowledge was incredible. We had 4 moms and 4 teens, and he was able to keep us all happy and engaged all day. Highly recommend this as a way to see the NYC highlights in a day!
